Musical Theatre Classes

We are totally passionate about musical theatre at STA and love to pass on our knowledge to the next generation of performers. Our theatre classes offer an all-round training in musical theatre covering singing, dance and drama. Equal emphasis is placed on all three disciplines which are taught in age appropriate classes for 6-9 years, 9-11 years and 11-13 years. Our classes are fun and fast paced and offer our students the chance to learn new skills, make new friends and explore the wonderful world of musical theatre. Building confidence is a huge part of what we do and every student from age 4-18 is s given a speaking role in every performance.

We offer many opportunities for performing including at least two live stage performances a year for our 6-13 year olds which include an informal demonstration show, and a full-scale musical or pantomime annually. We also perform regularly at the Godalming Performing Arts Festival as well as performances in London’s Theatre Royal, Haymarket.
